Brooklyn 99 TV Show Review

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a sitcom about cops, but not the boring kind that make you change the channel. It’s clean enough to watch with your mom, but funny enough that you won’t feel like you’re wasting your life. The script balances silly and smart in a way that makes you think, “Wow, they really did put effort into these dumb jokes.”

It’s one of those shows you keep rewatching, and every time you do, a new character sneaks into your heart as your favorite. The cast is stacked with lovable weirdos, each bringing something ridiculous to the table. If you like The Office, Parks and Rec, or Superstore, this one should be on your list.

Now, honesty hour: is Brooklyn Nine-Nine a perfect show? Absolutely not. It took me a few episodes to warm up, and that cost it a star. But once I got hooked, I never looked back. It’s entertaining, it’s quotable, and it has just enough chaos and charm underneath the comedy to keep you invested.
